Jespers Torvekøkken is looking for a Food Enthusiast for Vestas in Ringkøbing.
We are seeking a professionally strong food enthusiast, chef, or caterer with a passion for Danish gastronomy. We are looking for someone who, with great interest, will join us on our journey where, through the preparation of delightful meals and taste experiences, we can move towards even more happy lunch guests.
Job Description:
- Preparation of the daily assortment of bread, greens, cold and hot dishes
- Pickling and production of own cold cuts
- Good mood and can-do attitude for all tasks, including dishwashing and cleaning.
- Co-responsibility for daily menu planning, with a focus on reducing CO2 footprint and minimizing food waste.
- Quality control, and other daily tasks
Your Profile:
- You may be a trained chef, caterer, or smørrebrødsjomfru (traditional Danish open sandwich maker) - but it is not a requirement
- Food enthusiast, with experience from large-scale kitchens or canteens
- Quality-conscious, creative, and interested in current trends - but you still get upset when the mayonnaise separates and are in a good mood when the meatball is crispy
- Interest in sustainability and the green kitchen is only a plus
- Structured and skilled planner of your own workday
- Able to work independently and punctually
- Smiling and outgoing - and willing to contribute to the good atmosphere, both in the kitchen and with the guests.
