Are you our new Head Chef?

Do you have the experience, ability, willingness, and drive to become the head of our kitchen at Copenhagen Business School? We are looking for a mature and professionally trained chef with leadership experience for our largest kitchen, located at Solbjerg Plads in Frederiksberg. The kitchen services the canteen at this address, spread over several floors and sales points. The canteen serves daily meals to students and staff in the building and also handles events and functions in connection with meetings, conferences, receptions, etc.

As the head chef, you will be responsible for all our offerings and tasks at this location throughout the building's opening hours, and you will need to delegate, implement, and collaborate with the sous chef in the kitchen and the team leader in the canteen. At Jespers Torvekøkken, we produce everything from scratch, based on quality ingredients and with an increased focus on green cuisine and health.

We expect:

• That you are a professionally trained chef with dedication, vision, and pride in what you serve.
• That you are creative and proactive regarding food trends.
• That you are an experienced leader who calmly and with oversight can ensure the management and coordination of the various tasks in a positive and motivating way. We value a flat structure with broad knowledge sharing and self-managing groups.
• That you spend a good part of your day working in the kitchen and the canteen.
• That you are a stable user of IT in connection with administrative and planning tasks. We have our own ERP system for managing and planning production, etc.
• It is expected that you are proficient in English. CBS is an international university – a large portion of the approximately 18,000 students and staff are foreigners.
