Chef are wanted for the Health Center in Gribskov Municipality

We are looking for a Chef with a passion for the good green food experience and sustainable production.
We are going on an ecological journey towards a silver food label (+60% organic), so the green dishes and thoughts are the supporting element in the daily planning and production.
We are therefore looking for food enthusiasts with a great interest in both learning about, developing and composing their own dishes from
ex. Danish vegetables, and thus refine these into countless varieties of fantastic taste experiences for our 150 daily guests in the house, as well as approx. 40 happy guests at the town hall


This is a position with a working time of 37 hours per week - and you have a great opportunity to influence your own and the team's work flow - as long as you ensure "Food on time".

We emphasize that you as chef:

•      Is a trained chef and has relevant experience - preferably from a canteen kitchen
•      Is financially proven and has administrative flair
•      Good planner of own and others' working time
•      Loves to create, and ensures the good atmosphere in the kitchen

As head chef, cook and assistant

•      Is quality-conscious, creative and keeps up with current trends
•      Interest in sustainability and the green kitchen
•      Curious about your guests' wishes
•      Sense of hospitality
•      Is smiling and outgoing - and in a good mood
•      Is independent and can show up on time
•      It is clearly an advantage to have a driving license (B)

Job description:

•      Preparation of the daily range of cold and hot dishes for both houses
•      Bread baking, pickling, fermentation and production of own cold cuts
•      Menu planning, product allocation, transport and purchasing
•      Quality and self-control, and other daily tasks

Working hours:

•      The positions are full-time 37 hours
•      The working hours are spread over 5 weekdays
•      Working hours are primarily between 6:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m
•      Some evening shifts may occur
